We want you to love your decals! Because most of our products are made-to-order and often customized, cancellations and changes must be handled carefully. Please review our policy below:
When Cancellations Are Accepted:
- Within 24 Hours of Order Placement – Orders can be cancelled within the first 24 hours if production has not started.
- Duplicate Orders – If the same order was accidentally placed twice, we'll cancel the duplicate.
- Payment Errors – Orders placed due to accidental multiple charges can be cancelled after verification.
- Unavailability of Materials – If a product becomes unavailable or cannot be produced, we'll cancel the order and issue a refund.
When Cancellations Are Not Accepted:
- After Production Has Started – Once your design is in printing or cutting, cancellation is not possible.
- Custom Designs Approved – If you've approved a design proof, we cannot cancel.
- Orders Already Shipped – Orders that have left our facility cannot be cancelled.
- Final Sale or Clearance Items – These are non-cancellable and non-refundable.
Alternatives to Cancellation:
- Modify Instead of Cancel – If you catch a mistake early, you can request size, colour, or minor design changes before production.
- Store Credit Option – If a cancellation request comes after production has begun, we may offer store credit for future purchases instead of a refund.
- Replacement for Defective Items – If your decal arrives damaged or incorrect, we'll replace it at no cost instead of cancelling the order.
- Discounted Reprint – If you ordered the wrong size or design after production started, we may offer a discounted reprint rather than cancellation.
Special Circumstances:
- Delays or Errors on Our End – If we cannot deliver your order within the promised timeframe, you may request cancellation with a full refund.
- Fraud Prevention – Orders flagged as fraudulent or suspicious may be cancelled by us for security reasons.
- Customer-Initiated Holds – If you're unsure, we can place your order "on hold" (before production) instead of cancellation, giving you time to finalize details.
Important Notes :
- All requests for cancellation or modification must be made through our Customer Support team via email or contact form.
- Processing times vary, but we aim to resolve cancellation or change requests within 2–3 business days.
Refund Policy
At Hobbyist Decals, customer satisfaction is our priority. Because most of our decals are custom-made to order, refunds are limited. We aim to resolve issues by offering replacements or store credit whenever possible instead of refunds. Please review our policy below:
When Refunds Are Granted:
- Damaged in Shipping – If your order arrives damaged, we will replace it or issue a refund upon receiving photo proof.
- Production Errors – If we printed the wrong size, colour, or design compared to your order details, you are eligible for a refund or free replacement.
- Incorrect Item Sent – If you received a different product than ordered, we will issue a refund or replacement.
- Order Cannot Be Fulfilled – If materials are unavailable or we cannot complete the order, we'll refund you in full.
- Payment Errors – Any duplicate charges or accidental double-billing will be fully refunded.
When Refunds Are Not Granted:
- Customer Error in Ordering – We cannot refund orders where the wrong size, colour, or design was chosen by the customer.
- Design Approved by Customer – Once you approve a design proof, refunds are not possible for any change of mind.
- Custom/Personalized Orders – Refunds are not available for custom decals unless they arrive defective or incorrect.
- Applied/Used Products – Refunds are not possible after decals have been applied or used.
Alternatives to Refunds:
- Free Replacement – If your item is damaged or misprinted, we will send you a replacement at no additional cost.
- Discounted Reprint – If the mistake was on your side (e.g., wrong size ordered), we can offer a discounted reprint rather than a refund.
- Store Credit Option – If you prefer not to receive a replacement, we can issue store credit for future purchases instead of a refund.
- Exchange for Other Products – You may switch to another item of equal or higher value (customer pays the difference) if the order hasn't entered production.
- Partial Refunds in Special Cases – In rare cases where neither replacement nor credit is acceptable, we may offer a partial refund at our discretion.
Important Notes :
- All refund or replacement requests must be submitted within 7 days of delivery with order details and photo proof if applicable.
- Refunds are processed within 5–7 business days once approved.
